Smooth, modern and deeply social. Watch it for a minute and you’ll see why it hooks you from the very first beat.

You don’t memorise choreography. You have a conversation.

West Coast Swing is guided improvisation to today’s pop, R&B, blues and acoustic music. One role suggests, the other interprets, and the music is in charge.

That’s why it’s never danced the same way twice and that’s why, once you try it, you won’t stop.

You start from zero, today

No previous experience or fixed partner needed. In a single afternoon you’ll have the basics to get on the dance floor.

It’s all about community

Socials, meet-ups and trips to festivals all over Europe. Everyone dances with everyone, and everyone looks after everyone.

It grows with you

Easy to start, endless to master. There’s always a new nuance to chase.

Your starting point

It all starts with a beginners’ workshop

One Saturday afternoon, from 16:00 to 21:00: three hours of structured class from scratch and two hours of assisted social, where you dance with the teachers and your classmates while we help you live.

By the end you’ll have the foundation to join the regular classes, which are already running. It’s the last beginners’ workshop of the year: we won’t open new level-zero groups until 2027.

Already dancing with us or done a workshop?

You can join just the second part of the workshop and the social for €20: brush up your basics, polish your footwork and dance with the new students. You’ll find this option when you fill in the form for your city.

Common questions

Do I need a partner to sign up?

No. You can come on your own: you’ll be on a priority waiting list for a moment until someone of the opposite role signs up and we confirm your place. If you come as a couple, your places are secured straight away until the class is full. Registration is individual: each person fills in their own form.

What’s the difference between leader and follower?

The leader guides and suggests; the follower interprets and adds their own flow. It’s not a gender role: choose the one you fancy most and keep it throughout the course.

What if there are more followers than leaders?

It happens a lot. That’s why we have the Dual Role: if you sign up as a follower and end up on the waiting list, you can switch to leader to secure your place instantly, and you’ll also get to learn the follower role. The condition is keeping the leader role in the regular classes for the year.
